Despite the wide successes Panerai was achieving, the brand started to decline at the end of the 1950s when its partnership with Rolex ended. It did, however, remain a manufacturer of instruments for diving and aerospace until the 1990s, but it was not a typical watch brand like many of its counterparts. When I tried to wind the watch again, there is no click and it doesn't hold power, seems like there is nothing to stop the main spring from unwinding. I took the watch back to AD, they sent it off to Panerai, I hope I can get an exchange instead of having the watch opened after 4 days of ownership.
