Immediately, I already noticed a ton of hairline scratches on the YSL logo in front. Is this normal? There are also a few light scratches on the inside, which I can ignore, but overall, I'm pretty disappointed in its quality and is wondering if I should return it.

I recently bought a YSL key holder to protect my leather bag interior from key scratches. Recently, I realized the YSL key holder logo protrudes so much.
The store shipped it back to the "mothership" and they replaced it for me. That shouldn't be happening to hardware. For me, they said that there was a defect on the coating causing the metal to rust. You could try a polishing cloth for gold and silver hardware. You don’t have to baby this bag – it’s not easy to scratch, even if it bumps into things when you’re walking or swinging it around. And mine doesn’t have any obvious scratches on it. (I only noticed a few tiny scratches on the YSL logo and some dust around it).
I have had also a very good service. There was little scratches in my card holder's logo too fast and I got a chance to return it and they gave my money back. Very easy and I think they really value customers.
