You'll be fine - the only real difference between the Sub and the GMT is the deeper caseback of the Sub, which means it sits a tad bit higher on the wrist.
Hard to capture on a phone camera but my sub fits my 6.5 inch wrist. It's on the larger side but the lugs are within my wrist at least 5mm on each side and as the sub isn't overly thick it works. On your 6" wrist it will depend on how flat your wrist is I .
