Today I put it on and I tried to adjust the date, initially I thought I set it up to today (25th) but I made a mistake to move it to 26th. The Navitimer model from before 2003 had the subdials at 6 -9 - 12 and this one does have the quick-set date function. Considering that you only have to adjust the date 5 times per year and four times just 1 day ahead, this isn't a big issue.
The navitimer 2003 caliber B23 is based on the ETA 7753 movement. As you might have guessed ETA 7753 does not have the quickset date capability. The older model is based on an ETA 7750 and this model does have the quickset function.
