Just curious here, for owners of a watch utilizing the Citizen Miyota 8215 automatic movement, what is the accuracy of its time keeping? Has anybody ever attempted to have it adjusted to run more to their liking, or more accurately?
The 8215 does not hack and it only winds in one direction. One of the best, most reliable and accurate movements I have is a Miyota 8215 in an Invicta 8926. It runs in 1/2 sec/day +-.

The tried-and-true 8215. The “standard bearer” of the family is the 8215. It’s the one I’m most familiar with through watches I’ve owned or reviewed. This features three hands for hours, minutes, and seconds, all centrally mounted and with a date wheel running the perimeter.
This is the right ones. I am not satisfied with the mercedes hands and the bezel. I might swap it out at one poi. The 8215 prioritizes affordability with a 40-hour power reserve. The 8315 offers a hacking function, a longer 60-hour reserve, and potentially smoother operation, but at a slightly higher cost. Choose affordability or the extra features of the 8315. Given that you’re also getting 200m water resistance, a date window, Rolex-like hand stylings, and of course the powerful Miyota 8215 movement, we think it’s a bargain and a watch we’d definitely recommend!

People who say the rotor is loud are too picky.
