I have been looking at aquiring a two-tone Superocean Heritage (UB2030121B1A1) and many pre-owned examples I have seen online seem to have corrosion or something on the indices of the bezel. Does anyone have first hand experience with this? Both versions of the Superocean were noteworthy for the concave shape of their rotating dive-scale bezels, their distinctive arrow-and-sword handset, and their long, thin triangular hour markers, different from the geometrical indexes favored by most of the watch’s predecessors.
The scratch-resistant ceramic bezel inlay proved beneficial in narrow spaces. And with the dive extension piece in the folding clasp, which can be extended in several steps up to 15 mm, the divers could easily put on the watch over wetsuit gloves.
