I've owned a Milgauss (black, not the z blue), and I flipped it. The Milgauss is a beautiful watch, especially the Z-blue. I think its the most special of the lineup and the one to get. I love the Milgauss for its original concept and the rather overdone homage model which was the last in the line (for now). This is why I have a Z Blue and the fact that it is apparently disliked by so many may have helped me get one without effort.
The Milgauss is my all time favorite Rolex. I have the discontinued white dial model; I really appreciate the history and design of the watch. I think the Milgauss is quite an interesting piece out of the Rolex collection, it has one of the most colorful combinations and design. Aesthetically speaking it honestly doesn't truly appeal to me but from a collector's standpoint I would probably want to have one just because it's so quirky. I've been hearing rumors of the milgauss getting discontinued soon and seems like the ADs are also not receiving stock of it these days. People who have gotten it recently, how was your buying experience? The outer caseback is engraved "Milgauss" (x 2) and also sports two Rolex coronets. Interestingly, the Milgauss was the first men's watch after the Sea-Dweller to sport a factory caseback engraving.
