Looking at the Rolex website I see the jubilee end links, case design, dial design and movement have all been tweaked. All the things I liked about the 41mm version now in a svelte 36mm size. Looking forward to seeing more but great changes IMO. I’m torn and soliciting the experts here - which would you choose between a Rolex DJ36 (Silver/fluted/jubilee) and the new IWC Ingenieur (White) and why? For context, my small collection currently consists of a submariner 124060, blue Aqua Terra 38mm on rubber, and a Hamilton khaki field 38mm.The Rolex Datejust 36 ref. 116233 stands as a testament to the enduring allure of classic watchmaking. I would say datejust if you want to get a fluted bezel. Either oyster or jubilee bracelet. If you don't want the fluted bezel, then I'd say get the oyster perpetual as it will fly under the radar.
