Hi all, I'm contemplating buying the Celine Small Cabas Phantom for my 'everything' bag (but predominantly work - think laptop, gym wear, bottle etc.) and I have heard from one girl that stuffing it heavily can make the shoulder straps dig as they're rather thin. I told her I was there to compare the small Cabas Phantom Tote to the medium, so she asked me what color and brought both sizes out for comparison. My first reaction was that the small was too small overall—but the medium was definitely too tall.
I just bought my first and only Celine bag, the small cabas phantom in grey. Preloved at a good price. The previous owner has barely used it, and it’s like new. But to my question. With my heart set on the small size, I was determined not to go for another black Celine bag this time round and expand my horizons with another colour. Just so you are aware it is quite a heavy bag, especially when full. You may want to consider a more lightweight canvas bag if you’ll be wearing it for long. With that said, I love my medium Cabas and use it daily as my diaper bag.
I have the Nano Luggage and the Cabas Phantom from Celine, a few basic LV bags that I use and enjoy, and two Saint Laurent bags. I have happily sold all my Chanel, except my WOC, and sold all my Hermes.
