So I've installed the 980SSD and I have clone Windows on it. However the BIOS doesn't detect the new SSD, it doesn't show in the list of hard drive. But when I use the Motherboard Explorer I can see that the new SSD is recognised. I've replaced my old m.2 256GB Samsung XP941 SSD, my boot drive with Windows 10 installed, with a 1TB 970 EVO Plus. Make sure after the clone process you boot with only the new drive in the laptop. Then add your new second one. The booting with the single drive will help stop any issues from happening.
